Belfast Pride Festival is a week long series events celebrating all things LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bi and Transgender) don’t worry though they’re very accepting of ‘straights’ as well though!  The main part of it is the parade on Saturday.  Think the Twelfth or Paddys day parades but being hit by a big sparkly rainbow.  It’s great craic and very family friendly.  Its tarts off at custom house square and snakes it’s way round before going up Royal avenue and returning back to Custom house where there’s a big party (free entry too).  Basically if you’re on Royal Av about 12:30 you can’t miss it.  there’s a million things on over the week and especially on Saturday, but for us the pick of the week is the parade itself!  Check out the website for all the info.
