From Northern Ireland’s newest theatre company Curious Doings comes The Things People Say, a self-proclaimed bold and breathless experiment in theatre-making and performance.
Under the direction of internationally acclaimed performer and theatre-maker Mary-Frances Doherty, six performers will come together to create a unique and original piece of theatre in just ten days. Sounds easy, right?

The Things People Say will be a devised improvisation performance exploring the idea of what people say and the impact that can have on themselves, those around them, and the wider society. From famous speeches to local gossip, the show will look at our relationship to language and the power of words. The performance will be an ensemble piece and will incorporate text, music, dance, questions and lists.
