Successful Past Arts Academy paricipant (2010-2012): Cavan Clarke’s Story
Since leaving Bruiser Graduate Academy Cavan went on a three year acting course at the prestigious Rose Brudford College of Theatre and Performance, London’s International Drama School. Following these three years of intensive and invaluable training Cavan was signed by the prestigious Agent Rozane Vacca who represents the actor Michael Sheen. Since then Cavan has attained succes in earning roles in London at the Young Vic in Katie Mitchell’s version of Chekhov’s The Cherry Orchard. He also played the lead in a short film called Who Will Separate Us, as well as one of the noble kinsmen in Shakespeare and Fletcher’s The Two Noble Kinsmen. More recently Cavan finished the Winter Season at the Roayl Shakespeare Company in Ella Hickson’s Wendy and Peter Pan, directed by Jonathan Munby. Cavan recently commented, “I am living the dream in London. I’m excelling in my chosen career and even becoming an experienced cocktail barista – that’s where all the fine actors gain their experience, I like to think of it as character study! Bruiser was my first taste of professional theatre, I learned so much from the Arts Academy workshops, this gave me the confidence and self-belief, plus a solid foundation for skills I would need to enter Drama School. I will always be very grateful for their time and guidance. I learnt so much at the Arts Academy and experienced the best of times. It was a catalyst in deciding to choose acting as a career… Thanks Lisa May.”
