I am megaley (not a word) excited about this production of ‘Cabaret’ at The MAC from the Bruiser Theatre Company on from 16th September 2014 to 4th October 2014.  They’re basically going to transform the whole place into a cabaret club. We saw them do that at Tejas Verdes to great effect, and since this is from the guys who brought us The 25th Putnam Spelling Bee and The Nose you know you’re in good hands. Prepare yourself for a unique theatrical experience that plunges you into the decadent but decaying world of 1930’s Berlin as the MAC is transformed into the infamous Kit Kat Klub for an unforgettable evening of music, dancing and the riotously risqué.

Step into the seductively seedy shoes of singer Sally Bowles, as she embarks on a relationship with young American writer, Cliff Bradshaw. As their romance blossoms in the confines of the underground club, the Nazis are seizing control of the world outside.

We guarantee you won’t recognise our theatre as you know it!
