Unbelievably it’s that time again, Christmas shows are starting to pop up around the place and this one at The Lyric Theatre has a special Norther Irish twist:

Belfast 1992 – no Agreement, no Assembly, and no Accommodation at the Inn or anywhere else… Meet Mackers – a Belfast cabbie who’d rather work Christmas Eve than suffer the celebrations. Half the city needs to be somewhere else – trouble is, not everyone’s in the mood for a merry Christmas, and those who are full of the festive spirit are, well, full of the festive spirit…

Written by Belfast playwright Marie Jones (Fly Me To The Moon and last year’s Christmas show Mistletoe & Crime) and directed by Dan Gordon, Christmas Eve Can Kill You is set to be full of laughs, colloquialisms and more than a few home truths.

Running from 24th November until the 10th January you can find out more information or book tickets by clicking here.
