I saw a preview for this and thought it looked quite interesting, it’s on this week in The Lyric and I think it’s worth a look.

Look out on the 16th and 17th of April as Pan Narrans Theatre company present ‘I, BANQUO’ at The Lyric theatre in Belfast. A one man retelling of Macbeth, told through the eyes of his murdered best friend. Both Cambridge graduates and Northern Irish natives, Director Oisin Kearney and Actor Michael Patrick are excited to be bringing this phenomenal script to life in their home city.

The Lyric affirms its desire to showcase Belfast’s newest home-grown talent and in their continued effort to produce an eclectic repertoire of Performances. The spirit of Banquo is languishes restlessly. Murdered by his best friend. He needs to tell his story. What does he remember? What does he know? More importantly, will you be there to hear it?
