Out to Lunch ‘Extra Portions’ (February 21-23)

We would like to draw your attention to a small run of shows we have lined up for the weekend of February 21-23. These comprise of two shows we had to reschedule from January, Eamon Dunphy and Kevin Doherty, and one show we are bringing back due to popular demand, Harvest – A Neil Young Celebration. If you already have tickets for Eamon Dunphy or Kevin Doherty, these remain valid.

The Cathedral Quarter Arts Festival (May 1 – 11)

We are also releasing a number of Early Bird tickets for a selection of shows in May’s Cathedral Quarter Arts Festival. These are;

Tinariwen – From Mali, these blues rock superstars come to Belfast on the back of their newly released, critically lauded, album Emmarr.

The Webb Sisters – An integral part of Leonard Cohen’s live band, Hattie and Charlie Webb are an unmissable live act in their own right, not least in the special environs of St. George’s Church.

The Handsome Family – The alt-country legends Brett and Rennie Sparks bring their unique take on old, weird Americana to the Black Box on Monday May 5.

The Selecter – Celebrating the 35th Anniversary of the legendary album Too Much Pressure, Ska icons Pauline Murray and band will play all the hits at the Festival Marquee on May 10.

Shonen Knife – Formed in Osaka 33 years ago, the trio rose from humble DIY beginnings to joining Nirvana on their Nevermind tour, trailblazing a path for women in music and inspiring legions of bands.

Robert Newman’s New Theory of Evolution – Comedian, journalist, novelist and activist Rob Newman makes a hotly anticipated return to comedy with his first complete show in 7 years.
