BSPA (Belfast School of Performing Arts) are bringing West Side Story to The MAC from 19th-22nd Aug, with the incomparable James Huish directing. We love a bit of Sharks/Jets action so we thought we’d bring you all the info! Tickets from here.

Belfast School of Performing Arts return to the MAC with the world’s greatest love story.

“Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet is transported to modern-day New York City, as two young idealistic lovers find themselves caught between warring street gangs, the ‘American’ Jets and the Puerto Rican Sharks.

Their struggle to survive in a world of hate, violence and prejudice is one of the most innovative, heart-wrenching and relevant musical dramas of our time.

If you liked the sell-out performances of Les Miserables- SE and the Northern Ireland Premiere of Miss Saigon- SE then you will love the Belfast School of Performing Art’s take on this Broadway musical.West Side Story
