Team Ireland Roller DerbyIt’s a massive week for NI sports, first the Belfast Giants win the Elite Ice Hockey League for the fourth time and now five of our Belfast Roller Derby girls have been picked for the Team Ireland Roller Derby Squad. Hannahbolic Steroids, Maul’er Malone, Puscifer, Patricia The Ripper and Ra Ra Rasputina will all join the Ireland squad, alongside eleven girls from the Dublin Roller Derby team, three from Glasgow Roller Derby, two from Gotham Girls Roller Derby, two from Limerick Roller Derby, two from Central City Rollers from Birmingham and one from Cork City Firebirds, Leeds Roller Dolls, Oxford Roller Derby, London Rockin Rollers, Boomtown Rollers and Boston Derby Dames.

There’s sure to be plenty more success for our NI sports teams throughout 2014, so get out there and support them!
