After a highly successful Autumn tour of Ballymena, Newtownabbey, Downpatrick and Coleraine, theatre company C21 is bringing their recent production of  A Midsummer Night’s Dream to The Baby Grand at The Grand Opera House from 22nd to the 25th October.

Midsummer Night's Dream
This new adaptation, directed by Arthur Webb and produced by Stephen Kelly aims to capture the glory of the Bard’s language and will appeal to all, especially school children. With a cast of six, this production promises to bring audiences:

Some strong, courtly, confused lovers, a band of good-hearted thespian workmen and some vengeful punk fairies but with the help of some love juice, an ass’s head, a wall and a lion, the domestic squabbles in the forest of Athens, are magically resolved and the play ends with celebration and marriage.

“An outstanding production which truly brought Shakespeare to life for a teenage audience. The clever editing meant the audience was highly engaged throughout and the comic timing of the workmen was flawless”.
