It’s that time of the week again when the wonderful people from Visit Belfast put up a handy list of fun things to do at the weekend. Without further ado, here it is!

1. Russian State Ballet and Orchestra of Siberia – The Nutcracker
23 & 24 January
Grand Opera House
This most famous of fantasy ballets comes to the Grand Opera House. A fairy tale world is brought alive.

2. Celtic Woman
25 January 7pm
Odyssey Arena
One of Ireland’s most successful musical exports brings its unique, award winning show to the Odyssey. The Emmy nominated group has consistently topped the American Billboard charts over the past 10 years, performed regular sold out tours, and become a permanent fixture on US television.

3. Exhibition Burns: The Belfast Connection
12- 30 January
Linen Hall Library
Scottish poet and lyricist Robert Burns is celebrated with an exhibition of rare and valuable materials from the Library’s Gibson Collection, the largest collection of Burns materials held outside of Scotland.

4. Dirty Dancin’ in Le Shebeen
13 – 25 January
The MAC
The loveable Maggie Muff is back with a bang in the highly anticipated sequel to 50 Shades of Red, White and Blue.

5. Frank Browne – Through The Lens
15 January – 31 March
Titanic Belfast
An exhibition of Fr. Frank Browne’s greatest photographs including the famous photos he took on board the Titanic.
