The eagerly anticipated US fast food restaurant Five Guys Burgers recently unveiled their Belfast location with a sign going up in Belfast’s Victoria Square last month, and now after what has felt like eons of waiting, we have an opening date too!

Five Guys BelfastThe world famous burger bar will be throwing its doors open to the public next week on Monday 7th December and will be the first of the franchise to open on the island of Ireland.

However the novelty won’t last for long, as plans have already been announced for 10 more Five Guys restaurants to open over the next three years in locations such as Dublin, Cork, Galway, Limerick and Derry.

Stay with us over the coming weeks as we selflessly sample and review the tasty burgers and fries for your reading pleasure, but in the meantime, here’s this guy:
