Kia ‘Aina, Belfast’s only Hawaiian-inspired restaurant has teamed up with online food delivery service Deliver to mark the launch of its festive St Patrick’s Day menu offerings. The eye-catching stunt turned heads on the streets as a team of festive Deliveroo leprechauns on bicycle delivered tasty treats from Kua ‘Aina across Belfast City Centre. Featuring a range of fresh and filling items available online and in their Victoria Square restaurant until the 20th March, the unique menu from Kua ‘Aina offers a Paddy’s Day treat to suit every taste.

“We pride ourselves on creating delicious food from fresh, locally-sourced ingredients served with a Hawaiian twist,” said Patrick Gray, Operations Director, Kua ‘Aina. “We love to mix local touches into our Hawaiian-inspired menu and are going all-out this year with a range of exciting and satisfying treats. From wholesome post-celebration breakfasts to a light smoothie and a delicious Old Fashioned cocktail which will be a popular addition to our in-restaurant cocktail menu, we look forward to welcoming guests throughout the St Patrick’s Day festivities.”

Speaking of their partnership with Kua ‘Aina, Fiona Lucey, Deliveroo Marketing & Community Manager, added:

“Our cyclists are available to deliver food ordered online or via our app directly to your home or office, making Deliveroo and Kua ‘Aina the perfect partnership for providing nibbles to your door throughout St Patrick’s Day celebrations.”

The newly-launched menu includes stodgy items like the Black Pudding Burger (£9.25 for 1/3 pound and £10.45 for ½ pound) which features a burger with tomato, lollo biondi lettuce, grilled onions and mayo plus apple sauce and a grilled black pudding; Maple Bacon Soda Sandwich (£2.95); Soda Bread Breakfast (£6.95) and a restorative Emerald Smoothie (£3.95) which includes fresh romaine salad, curly parsley, kale, orange, mango, pineapple and apple juice.
