This week Tom Hanks is back looking for lost treasure or Jesus’s cutlery or something. We’ve got lots of Star Wars: Rogue One stuff including some new images from the film. We have Star Trek and Bridget Jones too. All kinds of good stuff.

Inferno

We’ve got a trailer for the 3rd remake of The Da Vinci code. Rather than being set in Paris or Vatican City, this time it’s set in Florence. Tom Hanks is running around the city with his big puzzle solving brain in this trailer that condenses the move into two and a half minutes.

The LEGO Ninjago Movie

Warner Bros is doubling down on the success of The LEGO Movie next year as we’re getting 2 LEGO movies. There’s the Batman one in February and then in September we’re getting a Ninjago one. Lets hope that can strike the same kind of tone (and gold) with the Ninjago one as we’ve seen in ‘The LEGO Movie’ and the Batman trailer. At the minute it looks promising as we’ve got some news on the cast. Jackie Chan is down to play Master Wu, Dave Franco (the lesser of the Francos but still a Franco) plays Lloyd, Hollywood’s only Latino Michael Pena is playing Kai, Abbi Jacobson is Nya, Kumail Ninjiana is Jay, Zach Woods is Zane and Fred Armesen is Cole.

Star Trek Beyond

Here’s the new trailer for Star Trek Beyond. It’s a trailer and its here. Right here.

Star Wars: Rogue One

We’ve got a few new images from the new Star Wars film courtesy for Entertainment Weekly as well as a few interesting pieces of information about the cast.

Jyn Erso (Felicity Jones) according to producer Kathleen Kennedy “She’s a real survivor. She becomes a kind of Joan of Arc in the story.”

Galen Erso (Mads Mikkelsen) Death Star’s designer and estranged father of Jyn Erso

Saw Gerrera (Forest Whitaker) Saw is an existing Star Wars character who’s been seen in Star Wars Rebels and in the Clone Wars. Trained by none other than Obi-Wan and Anakin if reports are to be believed

Chirrut Imwe (Donnie Yen) A ‘Warrior Monk’ who looks to be a believer in ‘The Force’, He’s blind but that never stopped Daredevil being a force to be reckoned with.

Baze Malbus (Jiang Wen) Heavily armored, Baze prefers a blaster to hokey religions and ancient weapons, but he is devoted to protecting his friend Chirrut at all costs.

K-2S0 (Alan Tudyk) The opposite of C-3P0 This towering, powerful security droid is described by Edwards as “the antithesis of C-3PO.” In other words, he’s tough, confident, not especially interested in “human/cyborg relations,” Edwards also says “Kaytoo is a little bit like Chewbacca’s personality in a droid’s body. He doesn’t give a shit about what you think.”

Also there’s the fact that Darth Vader has been confirmed to make an appearance, voiced by the one and only James Earl Jones. There’s a lot more information and images on the EW site, too many to post here so check the link below for even more content.

Bridget Jones’s Baby

And finally, we’ve got the new trailer for Bridget Jones’s Baby. She’s lost all that weight from the first 2 films and has most definitely NOT had any work done. Just the same old Bridget we all know and love.
