Tron is over 7ft tall and weighs over 300lbs.  He’s a genuinely scary dude, so we kept our distance as we asked him about his plans for the upcoming PWU supershow.

1. How are you feeling about your upcoming match at the PWU super show at the end of this month?

Let me correct you from the start. You say match but obviously mean matches, as both the semi final and final take place on Sunday. When I look at the 3 guys that I could potentially come up against you have Christopher Tiberius Banks III with his scheming, B Corr with his Aerial dynamics and Luther Valentine with his cocky aggressive streak, all formidable opponents. But I’m something… different. I don’t call myself the Northern Irish Nightmare because it sounds good. 7 Foot Tall, over 300 lbs, 4 time PWU Champion. Schemers, Aerialists and Cocky Aggressive types have come and gone. But from Day 1 to Day 2584 there has been only one Nightmare. And on Day 2585, August 24th, I don’t care which 2 I end up against, by the end of the night, I will be the one still standing.

2. Recently you’ve been running roughshod through the PWU roster, any regrets?

Roughshod? Regrets? I prefer to say Receipts. This year started with me having to share my PWU Championship rematch with someone else, being made to wear a dress, matches with rookies – Terry couldn’t help but stick his nose in. I knew what he was at but then it hit me, there’s no point being a Dinosaur when you’re made to look like Barney. So I needed to send a message. I hit a 16 year old, female, trainee with a piledriver in front of 300 people including her friends and family. Am I proud of it? No, but I don’t regret it. You don’t poke a bear, you don’t taunt a lion and you sure as hell don’t try my patience. That was all on Thompson. Since then though Terry’s been busy with other… shall we say “Issues”. I can’t put all the blame on him. How do you think it feels to be constantly reminded of one of the lowest nights of my life? “Tronna, Tronna, Tronna” ironically though, it’s exactly the fuel I need to get me what I want.

3. What does winning the Platinum ticket mean to you?

It’s the Ultimate up yours. When the tournament was announced I wasn’t even considered. Just another example to add to the list of slaps in the face. Add into that last year I was the prey. Now the hunted becomes the hunter. Then to top it all off £5000 of Terry’s personal finances.

4. What are your views on this Sundays move to a bigger venue and bringing in Drew Galloway ?

This show has been 7 years in the making, when we started the plan has always been to put on the most entertaining show we possibly can. Over the years we’ve pushed ourselves further and further to achieve this. Sunday is the biggest step we’ve taken, the pressure’s on and now it’s time to shine.

5. What’s next for you after Sunday?

A Title shot whenever, wherever I want. And a shopping spree.
