So after all my promises about doing this every week I dropped the ball last week huh? But I’m back so lets proceed with the increasingly confusing feature that is Gig of the week. This week it’s not a gig, and I guess that my fault for the misleading name – Gig of the week. If you can think of a more all encompassing name then drop us a line. Event of the week perhaps? Something snappier? I’ll keep working on it sure.
The guys at PWU are putting on their bi-monthly wrestling show on Sunday. They’ve come on leaps and bounds from the ill fated UCW shows that used to be on Wellington Park hotel. It’s a solid 2 and a bit hour show that’s great craic for fans and non-fans alike. It’s £5 in and yes there is a bar at the Balmoral hotel. They also feature once-was-a-bit-crap-but-since-returning-from-WWE-developmental-in-the-US TRON. A hugely impressive individual and at 7 foot tall a man mountain to boot. They also have Damien Corvin and Tucker fresh off their TNA IMPACT try outs and many more quality wrestlers from both side of the Island.
