Five years down the line and Belfast alt-rock trio A Northern Light are bringing something a little different to the proverbial table.

After several well-received EPs and singles, the Belfast/Strabane based threesome will be bringing their latest release Kingdoms to us in two instalments: Part One will be released in Spring, with Part Two following soon after in the Autumn.

The first offering from the upcoming Kingdoms: Part One is the explosive powerhouse of sonic noise, Paranoia. With a stadium-filling chorus, high tempo drums and the kind of emotion rarely heard outside of a live arena, this is a hugely impressive start to what is without a doubt one of the most highly anticipated releases of 2016.

I have an undying love for Belfast and all that it has to offer, an undying love for sleeping, Tegan and Sara, trashy tv shows, foreign snack-foods and being irresponsible with money. I also quite like origami, reading, jazz, hip-hop, dubstep, anything acoustic and Food Network TV. I've written for The Big List, Culture NI, Chatterbox and The Echo, as well as writing for BBC Across the Line.
