Forming in 2015 We Turned, We Drew is a three piece consisting of Darragh McCullagh, Stephen Adams and Ruth McGonagle. With musical influences ranging from Cloud Nothings, to Foals, to British Sea Power their lyrical themes are heavily influenced by everything from the exploration of grief and loss to the isolation felt as an outlier to the norm.

Expanding in 2016 to a four piece, with the addition of Decky love on piano, the band have released their debut single Love Equals which was recorded at Start Together Studios and has been shortlisted by Chordblossom for their Kickstart 2016 competition.

With a fun and memorable intro Love Equals is a powerhouse of attitude comprised of catchy lyrics, punchy drums and some really nice guitar work. Get it on and have a listen!
