We here at PastieBap.com understand that advertisements can be annoying and irrelevant and often get in the way of your aimless internet browsing, but that’s just how the world works these days.

Because of this we disabled adverts from our page for a while so that you lovely people wouldn’t be bombarded with ads asking you to sign up to Netflix or buy Sky every time you checked out our content. Most of the time they just weren’t helpful and got in the way. However we do believe that sometimes ads can be cool and introduce you to new experiences and things you otherwise may not have known about. For that reason we are pleased to announce our first ever local advertiser, Stendhal Festival of Art! To be honest, we were just waiting for the right thing to come along that our readers (that’s you) would genuinely be interested in and might find useful, and this is it. We hope you’ll click on the shiny new advertising images found to the sides and at the bottom of the site (if you’re on a computer) and check out the festival. (Also, if you’re a local NI business and you want to see your picture on our website too, just shoot us an email and we’ll work something out #shameless)

Aside from this, we are also proudly sponsoring Stendhal Festival of Art in return and you can find us over on their supporters page or check out our great new banner which will be flying high at the festival itself.

Stendhal is a fantastic home grown family run festival in Limavady which runs from the 7th – 8th August and we genuinely believe that this year’s fest will be the best one yet. Last year it even won Best Small Festival, Best Line-Up and Best Family Festival at the Irish Festival Awards 2014. You can have a gander at the line-up here or look at photos of last year’s festival here if you want to get a feel for it.

Over the next two weeks we’ll be featuring Stendhal quite a bit on the website with playlists, information, music and even a very special Stendhal preview podcast with an interview with organiser John Cartwright so keep an eye out.

In the meantime, the lovely Stendhal team gave us a wee tour around the festival site the other day, so here are a few behind the scenes photographs to keep you all going.
