Gig of the week is still going strong, I’m trying the alternative “Pick of the week” as a title. What do you think of that? I’m leaning towards either that or “Weekly happening?”. Let me know in the comments below sure. This weeks pick of the week is a mixed bag, but sounds like a great night out. Alternative Belfast is an Event being put on by The Filthy Quarter and Joker Tattoo and celebrates the alternative side of Belfast. We’ll say nothing about the fact they’ve a Derry band playing then…ahem… There’s a Bacardi and Jack Daniels drinks reception and on the night Wyldling are playing an Acoustic set to take care of the music side of things. Then throughout the night there’s Live tattooing by Joker Tattoo and An alternative fashion Show; Liberty Blue, Iron Fist and Sophine Dinsmore will all be displaying their wares. There’s an after party too in the Gypsy Lounge should you wish to continue partying hard (as Andrew WK would say).
