There has been so much buzz about this act recently it has been crazy, only further cemented by their blistering set at Glastonbury.  Luckily for us Sleaford Mods are coming to Belfast and their set at the Black Box is sure to be something to see, a great act in a great intimate venue. Nottingham resident Jason Williamson began releasing music as Sleaford Mods over 8 years ago before being joined by partner in crime Andrew Fearn in 2012. With a ridiculous back catalogue, it’s surprising that it took so long for the world so stand up and take notice. But 2014 was the year absolutely everyone finally paid attention; the year the Mods’ verbal onslaughts and post-punk beats really began to resonate with the world at large. Possessing an acute tongue, razor-sharp wit, and a political mind; Williamson delivers material with as much humour as bile. In this austerity facing country, Sleaford Mods sheer conviction – the anger, the delivery – demands your attention.
