Looking for something a bit different to do this weekend? Well, The Black Box have got you covered. Saturday 11th October sees the What’s Le Craic Festival take over that hallowed black space with a day long celebration of all things French and Irish.

Hosted by French Irish booking and music exchange company Epic Tour, there will be a craft market from 12pm to 5pm, with French/Irish craft stalls, French/Irish language workshops, French/Irish food, French/Irish traditional dancing and pretty much French/Irish everything. Entry to the market is completely free.

Whats Le CraicAs if this wasn’t enough, the evening sees a musical celebration of all things French/Irish. The doors for this open at 8pm with Northern Irish bands The Bonnevilles, Empty Lungs and DJ Wally Wallace playing, and special guest band Tagada Jones all the way from France. Tickets for the gig will be £8 on the door, or you can grab them for £5 in advance from The Black Box.
