Having been around since 2011, four-piece Echo Raptors are Belfast’s answer to bands like Oasis, The Verve and Cast. Playing proper old school rock ‘n’ roll, Echo Raptors are polished yet dreamy and their music harks back to the dreamy days of Britpop. Their music literally sounds like Fred Perry polo shirts and denim  jackets, and it’s oh so good.

Their latest single Believe In Love is out now and is a catchy little number indeed. With a more acoustic, casual approach than usual, this track is a really nice example of what these lads are good at – heartfelt, captivating songs that would sound at home on any stage and in any situation. Have a listen to the mellow Believe In Love below.

Follow Echo Raptors on Facebook, Twitter or Soundcloud, and if you want to catch them live, they’re supporting Cast at Limelight on 9th October.

I have an undying love for Belfast and all that it has to offer, an undying love for sleeping, Tegan and Sara, trashy tv shows, foreign snack-foods and being irresponsible with money. I also quite like origami, reading, jazz, hip-hop, dubstep, anything acoustic and Food Network TV. I've written for The Big List, Culture NI, Chatterbox and The Echo, as well as writing for BBC Across the Line.
