Roll up, roll up! Come on up and see what Netflix has this week! What’s the pick of the week? Is it something for the kids? Something spooky? Is it a Netflix Original? Let’s start with the honorable mentions will we?

Leprechaun – Warrick Davis stars in the movie that started a franchise that includes ‘Leprechaun in the hood’. That one has Warrick rapping in it. Thankfully this one doesn’t.

Planet Hulk – A cartoon version of Marvel’s popular story line where Hulk is exiled to space and becomes ruler of his own planet. Rumors are that this might be where movie Hulk is headed in the future. Like I say. Rumors.

X-Men – The comic book movie that started it all. The one that we have to thank for studio’s faith in the genre. It’s a pretty good movie too.

Kronk’s New Grove – If you liked The Emperor’s New Groove then this is the sequel to that. More of the same. Luckily I quite liked the first one. The original cast is all back and Kronk’s father is coming to town.

Pick of the week – Special Correspondents – Another Netflix Original to make it to pick of the week. This one comes from writer/ director/ star Ricky Gervais who writes/ directs and stars in it. Eric Bana’s and yer Scotch woman off of Trainspotting and Boardwalk Empire are in it too. Check out the trailer below, looks like it could be a decent little movie.
