This week we have stuff on The Last Witch Hunter, Bad Boys, Sleeping With Other People, Jumanji, Ghostbusters, Baywatch, Star Wars and the usual Netflix round up. It’s all here!

Bad Boys

2 more sequels have been confirmed by Sony for those naughty cops. Will it have Jaden Smith in it? Only time will tell. mini meI’d like to see Will and Jaden Smith recreate that scene from Austin powers where Mini Me plays the tiny piano on top of Dr. Evil’s bigger piano. Bringing ‘Just the two of us’ full circle. Maybe one of these Bad Boys films will be the one to do it. Unless it’s the mid-credits scene in Suicide Squad.

The Last Witch Hunter

Well this one looks like a doozy. The trailer contains many things including the phrases ‘you are a dreamwalker!’ and ‘if you die in there, you die out here!’. It looks like a mix between The Matrix and Blade but with Vin Diesel and Frodo dressed as a priest. Michael Caine is there too in a big chair. Vinny has an insane beard and hair combo at one point at another he’s wielding a flaming sword. Egret of ‘you know nothing John Snow!’ fame is there too as a witch hunting witches (kind of stealing Vin Diesel thunder as the eponimous’The Last Witch Hunter’). It looks bonkers. Enjoy the trailer.

constantineConstantine / Arrow

The Constantine TV show was never renewed for a second season but it looks like we may get to see Matt Ryan in the role again as at least one guest appearance in Arrow has been confirmed. Constantine failed to get the viewers in on AMC in the US but maybe we could see it return on CW along with his DC buddies The Flash and Arrow.

Ghostbusters

Bill-Murray-3It looks like we will be seeing Dr. Peter Venkman in the new Ghostbusters after all. Bill Murray has been confirmed as having a cameo role in the film along with Dan Aykroyd. Murray had always been hesitant about appearing in a new ghostbusters but it looks like the new ‘all girl’ take on it gets his stamp of approval.

Sleeping With Other People

Alison Brie and Jason Sudeikis star in one of those sexy rom-com things that are so popular these days.
It looks like it could be funny even if the trailer seems to show the whole movie (minus the scene at the end where he has to rush to the airport to stop her from leaving his life forever!). The trailer is NSFW just incase you are thinking of watching it at W. I’ve added the synopsis below too and put it in italics because italians like to read things tilted slightly to the left.

Years after impulsively losing their virginity to each other in college, Lainey (Alison Brie) and Jake (Jason Sudeikis) meet at a support group in New York (“What’s a nice girl like you doing at a sex addicts meeting?”). A spark resurfaces, but they’ve walked this road before. Abject failures in romance who lead lives of serial infidelity and self-sabotage, they agree to a platonic friendship to mutually support their recovery—and what’s more supportive than teaching your friend proper self-stimulation? Can love bloom while you’re sleeping with other people?

Baywatch

A Baywatch movie is being pieced together for our viewing pleasure and  Zac Efron will be joining The Rock for an R rated take on the tv series. The big question is which one will be playing David Hasselhof’s Mitch Buchannon and which will be playing Pamela Anderson’s C. J. Parker.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens

There’s not much in the way of new info on this but we do have a nice new image of some sort of storm trooper gathering. A rally of sorts. That can only be a good thing, right?

BeetleJuice 2

Not much to say on this one other than Tim Burton, Wynona Ryder and Michael Keaton are all attached.
Wynona confirmed the film on Late Night with Seth Meyers.

“I think I can confirm it. It was very hush-hush top secret … but then [Tim Burton] was doing some press for Big Eyes and and he did an on-camera interview and he said ‘Oh yeah, we’re doing it, and Winona’s going to be in it.’ … If he said it, I can say it.”

JumanjiboardJumanji

Theres no star or script or director but a new Jumanji remake has been earmarked for Christmas 2016. Good luck with that.

Netflix

This may be a week to go play outside as the Netflix pickings are slim. Kick Ass 2 is the only film of note thats been added and I would only advise watching it if you really liked the first one. It’s not great. The only other thing that could bear fruit is Hit Record on TV with Joseph Gordon-Levitt. Its got 4 stars on IMDB so it might be worth a look. ‘Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s crowdsourced variety show features short films, animation, music and more, with each episode organized around a theme. ‘
