This week’s top 3 contains a couple of new miniseries and a Jurassic Park game. Kit Harrington is back on our screens to hep fill that gap between now and the last series of Game of Thrones that’s due 2046 of whatever.

Philip K. Dick’s Electric Dreams

Channel 4 my have lost Black Mirror to Netflix but they’ve got something else to replace it. It’s an anthology series of weird stories and the trailer has lots of zapping sounds and glitches just like black mirror. It looks like a good cast though so maybe it’ll be a ‘thrilling, audacious and emotional journey‘ like the synopsis says.

Philip K. Dick’s Electric Dreams is an anthology series of ten, epic standalone episodes, each set in a different and unique world. Each episode is inspired by one of Philip K. Dick’s renowned short stories and has been adapted by an exciting list of leading British and American writers and directors. The series also features an all-star cast who head up this thrilling, audacious and emotional journey into the far reaches of imagination.

Jurassic World Evolution

Due Summer 2018 is a new Jurassic Park game. It’s another park sim but that’s ok. It’s being developed by Frontier Development who created Elite Dangerous and a lot of focus is being put on the ideas that the dinosaurs in your park will continually test you by escaping into the park. According to Microsoft Jurassic World Evolution will require you to constantly make decisions as “life finds a way” to make your life a living hell.

Gunpowder

If you’re wondering what Jon Snow is up to when not making Game of Thrones then wonder no more! He’s in this miniseries about the gunpowder plot looking like Jon Snow in a silly hat.

“Every year on November 5 the English mark the discovery of the Gunpowder Plot in London in 1605 with bonfires and fireworks. It is often called Guy Fawkes Day because many people believe – erroneously – that the plot was devised by Guy Fawkes. “However, while Fawkes played a pivotal role, the man who dreamed up the plot and was its driving force was Robert Catesby (Harington), a 30-year old Warwickshire gentleman.”

Bonus News!

Joker and Harley Quinn are getting their own movie courtesy of the duo behind Bad Santa
(John Requa and Glen Ficarra). It’ll pick up where Suicide Squad left off.
