Inside Out Music Events

9 – 30 August
Cornmarket

Bands and artists will perform free gigs at Cornmarket every Thursday and Saturday throughout August, culminating in a final showcase event at Belfast City Hall on 30 August. More info here.

One Love Festival

9 – 16 August
Various venues in Belfast

Belfast comes alive from 9 – 16 August 2014 with the taste, music and culture of the Caribbean, courtesy of the One Love Festival. Festival highlights include One Love – The Musical at The MAC inspired by the music of Bob Marley and a Caribbean Music Event at the Black Box.

August Craft Month

Explore over 100 craft events including talks, exhibitions, workshops and demonstrations at over 40 locations throughout Belfast and Northern Ireland.

Belsonic

15 – 22 August
Custom House Square

Belsonic is back at Custom House Square with another amazing line up of acts including Queens of the Stone Age, Biffy Clyro and Kodaline.

Woodstock Rhythm & Blues Festival

13 – 18 August
Various Venues in East Belfast

The Woodstock Rhythm & Blues Festival returns for its seventh year with another fantastic line up of performances by artists such as Grainne Duffy, Sabrejets and Ronnie Greer.

Dirty Dancing

29 July – 16 August
Grand Opera House 

Dirty Dancing – the classic story on stage is an unprecedented live experience, exploding with heart-pounding music, passionate romance and dancing.

Belfast City of Rhythms Show

1 August – 8 September
Hastings Europa Hotel 

Described by its producers as an “all singing, all dancing show delivering the Heart & Soul of Northern Ireland”, it’s a seven-cast production of modern and traditional story-telling, music and dance.
