North·ern Vi·raland
Noun
A made up term to describe viral content from (Northern) Ireland
This week’s Northern Viraland is a bit of a no brainer. There’s been one thing on the minds of the people Northern Ireland for the past week or so and that’s The Reduced Shakespeare Company’s ‘controversial’ play about the Bible. You know the story, first it was banned by Newtownabbey Borough Council after members of the DUP deemed it far too blasphemous to be shown, then there was a massive uproar and the sensible public called them out and they reversed the decision. A victory for all that is good and right with the world. We went to see the opening night last night and will be bringing you our review this Monday!
