You will learn all the basic skills of hot glass working in order to make your own piece with a professional glassblower and learn the magical way glass is sculpted. No previous experience is necessary. During the course you will be introduced to techniques such as gathering glass from the furnace; shaping and tooling the molten glass, applying colour and finishing. You will be able to take your piece of art home after it has cooled overnight.

2016 Deep RiverRock Belfast City Marathon, various locations, Belfast, May 2. Over 17,500 runners are expected to hit the streets of North, South, East and West of the City for the Belfast City Marathon. The race starts at the Belfast City Hall at 9am and finishes at Ormeau Park, covering all areas of Belfast to include plenty of support from all the local residents.
