Recently myself and Mrs Pastiebap managed to get the kids taken care of and moseyed our way up (after some Ikea Xmas shopping) to The Culloden for some afternoon tea. Because it was the first of December it so happened that we were in time for their new Christmas Afternoon tea. Good timing! Besides trying out no less than 4 of their Thompsons speciality teas we also munched on an array of festive sandwiches, my fave being the turkey and sage, before tucking into the Armagh apple and cinnamon scones. The star of the show, however was the sweets, just look at all that colour in the pictures below. The Mini Christmas puds and mince pies were to die for. I must say I had a lovely time and wanted to stay in the opulent dining room near that big fire all afternoon!
