So the lovely lads up at Belfast City Council have introduced a city-wide free public Wi-Fi network as part of their Super Connected Belfast scheme and we think you all should know about it. Available at 104 hotspots across Belfast, you can see the full list of BelfastWiFi hotspots here or have a look at a map of all the available places here. Some of the main places that we’re excited about are Belfast Zoo, the Waterfront, St George’s Market, Belfast Castle and Belfast City Hall, but aside form the tourist traps, there’s also loads of community centres and sports clubs on the list too.

Once you’ve found a Wi-Fi hotspots, just connect to it in your settings as normal and follow the instructions on screen. Easy peasy, thanks Belfast City Council!

If you do have a bit of trouble or have any questions about the service, have a look at the BelfastWiFi help guide here or the BelfastWifi user leaflet here.

If you’re interested in Belfast’s WiFi capabilities in general, then have a look at BelFi here, a website which shows you all of the WiFi spots in Belfast whether they’re free or paid or in the cloud. Pretty handy.
