We’ve got a whole heap of stuff for you today. We’ve got the new Ghostbusters trailer, the Finding Dory Trailer, some behind the scenes Game of Thrones stuff as well as a trailer, Civil War posters and Star Wars Battlefront. We’ve got the lot!
Ghostbusters
A lot has been said on the interwebs about the ‘lady ghostbusters’. Now people can actually make a more informed decision and check out some footage of the actual film. I’ve taken a look and it looks good to me and that’s all that counts. I also think that the ghosts in it are spot on. They look like something out of The haunted Mansion ant Disney World.
Game of Thrones
Next month we’ll finally get to see Season 6 of Game of Thrones. It’s been so long that I’m pretty sure I’ve forgotten all the characters names and allegiances . Until then though HBO have a little documentary showing us what it’s like to actually film the thing.
As if that’s not enough, they’ve also dropped what we’ve really been waiting for. The trailer for season 6.
Day of the Tentacle
One of Lucas Arts’ classic point and click adventures has finally got a revamp and is preparing to be released to the masses. I have fond memories of this one and it’s great that we’ll get to play it again after it’s original release in 1993. Double Fine have updated the graphics, music, sound effects as well as adding some additional features. It’ll be coming to Linux, Mac, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita and Windows PC sometime this month. Click here for more info and some sweet wallpapers for desktops and phones.
Captain America Civil War
The poster campaign for Civil War is starting to heat up ahead of it’s release in May. Marvel Studios have released 6 new posters featuring Cap’s line up. I reckon Iron Man’s batch can’t be too far behind.
Finding Dory
Its the latest from Disney Pixar and it’s those fish guys from Finding Nemo that everyone liked so much! This time it’s Dory that’s gone AWOL . Check out the brand new trailer below.
Venom
The Hollywood Reporter reports (what else?) that a Venom movie is back on the cards. The film fell by the wayside after Sony’s plans for Spider-man didn’t quite pan out. This new iteration of Venom though will be scripted by Dante Harper (googled him and got pretty much nothing) and will be unrelated to the upcoming Spider-man movie which takes place after his appearance in Civil War.
Star Wars: Battlefront
For anyone who got Battlefront and was a little miffed at the lack of content for near 50 quid, EA and DICE have heard you and is releasing it’s second batch of free DLC. This time it features a certain Tatooine Gangster.
Baywatch
If you didn’t know already, all the beautiful people in Hollywood have got together to make a movie about beautiful people in swimsuits. There might be a shark or a nefarius business type in there to spoil the fun, bite some legs or buy up the beach for condos but the crux of it is Baywatch is back and it’s got The Rock in it. Rock loves his instagram and he’s posted a little pic of himself and Kelly Rohrback as Mitch and C.J. striking a pose. This cast is being rounded out by Zac Efron as Matt Brody, Ilfenesh Hadera as Stephanie Holden, Alexandra Daddario as Summer Quinn and Priyanka Chopra as the villain of the piece. Probably a shark.
X-Men Age of Apocalypse
Alexandra Ship who plays the young version of Storm (previously Halle Berry) has been talking to Collider about what it’s like to be joining the franchise and how she feels about the possibility of many more to come.
The last cast of the X-Men, the original cast for X-Men, they were together for so long and they had such a really great bond and I’m just excited to have that. I’ve been on shows before, and shows, you’re kind of on it for a year or a couple years and you’re back and forth with all the same people, and you have this friendship. We all genuinely like each other on this movie, and that’s a huge rarity. […] I’m excited to see where it goes because it does have the potential to be for however long because we’re starting young so I guess I could do it for a couple, right?
Fox have also released a snazzy new poster too.
Hardcore Henry
I have no idea what the hell this is but it looks amazingly bonkers. Trailers speak louder than words.
That’s your lot for this week. All that’s left to say is that Octogeek are running a little competition to win a Star Wars The Force Awakens Calendar. It’s a fun little diversion so check it out here. Thanks guys!
