Summer is fast approaching so expect a whole bunch of trailers. We’ve got trailers for the new Star Wars, Doctor Strange, Suicide Squad, the David Brent Movie and Harry Potter spin off Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them. There’s news on Spider-Man, Wolverine as well as some games trailers. First up though Rogue One.
Rogue One
New trailer dropped this week for Rogue One, the new Star Wars spin off. It’s a teaser which is the trailer for the trailer. That’s a standard thing now. It looks pretty good though and from the picture below it appears that the AT-AT are on holiday in the Bahamas. Little do they know that come Empire Strikes Back they’ll be deployed to Hoth. Brrrrrrrrr.
David Brent: Life On The Road
Here’s the new trailer for a trailer of the David Brent movie. If it’s anything as funny as this clip then we’re in good hands. Also it’s gross. Funny and gross.
Bad Neighbors 2
Efron has his shirt off ready for the new red band trailer. Seth Rogen is doing his lovable pot head thing and Chloe Moretz is a sorority chick now. Check it all out below, now with added swears.
Suicide Squad
New trailer for the Suicide Squad, guys. If you were looking for something a little lighter than Batman V Superman then maybe you’ll find it with this one.
Doctor Strange
Have you ever? Ever felt like this? Strange things happenin’ when you’re goin’ round the twist. We finally get a trailer (or teaser) for Doctor Strange. It looks like a sort of Marvel version of Inception with a bald Tilda Swinton. You can look forward to the whole thing being released at the end of October, just in time for Halloween.
Spider-Man
Spider-Man’s first solo outing with Marvel Studios (Sony’s still along for the ride, mind you) has a title. Spider-Man Homecoming. Alluding to the fact that Spidey is firmly in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Kevin Feige has also confirmed that some well known Marvel faces will be popping up too.
“He is in the universe now, and the fun of the universe is that characters go back and forth”
I’m not crazy about the logo but I guess it looks like they’re going to be focusing on the fun side of being a teen with Spider powers. Spider-Man Homecoming will be with us July next year.
The Wolverine 3
Boyd Holbrook who was one of the 2 Narcos in Netflix excellent series Narcos has been cast as a villain in Hugh Jackman’s last Wolverine. Deadline reports that Boyd’s Villain will be:
“A relentless, calculating and intense head of Security for a global enterprise who is set against Jackman’s clawed Wolverine/Logan hero”.
Boyd Holbrook did a stand up job in Narcos so it should be interesting to see what he makes of the role.
Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them
Warner Brothers are all out of Harry Potters so they are plugging that financial gap with a mega slate of DC films and um…. more Harry Potter. Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them is a spin off movie that’s set in the past which is a nice touch. The film has it’s second teaser trailer featuring the actingest actor around Eddie Redmane. It’s due out November this year.
Underworld
We needed more Underworld films right? Thats what everyone else was thinking, yeah? Not just me? How many have there been so far? Like 8? At least 6 anyway. It turns out though that there’s only been 4 and a 5th one is on the way. It’s been shot in Europe with Charles Dance, Theo James and Lara Pulver. Kate’s back too with her PVC all in one along with some murky special effects probably and it shall be known across the land as ‘Underworld: Blood Wars’. It’s been shot in Europe with Charles Dance, Theo James and Lara Pulver.
Titan Fall 2
Titan Fall 2 is out soon and we have an intriguing little teaser to promote the fact. If you like mechs with swords then this might be one for you.
Gears Of War 4
If Gears of War is more your thing then you can pick it up on the 11th of October for Xbox One. Here’s a trailer to get you in the mood that features one of the most unintentionally creepy kids ever. He’s like a Pinocchio bobble head. Can I play as that kid? If so, you’ve sold your first copy. Well done.
