If you’re in any way interested in the Northern Irish music scene, then you’re more than likely to have come across Donal Scullion in some shape or form. Whether it’s fronting 10-piece soul band NI Soul Troop, 6-piece reggae band The Vibes, 4-piece rock band Uncle Social or hanging out with the guys from Pony Dance (not to mention working with many other musicians), you’re bound to have heard him, seen him or talked to him.

Donal ScullionWell now you can help to fund his first full solo album Superpowers as part of a new Kickstarter campaign run by the man himself. With a goal of raising £900 to help master the album, complete the artwork and for CD duplication, he’s already reached his target with 8 days to go. There’s still some incentives left such as getting Donal to record a song of your choosing, performing a gig at your house or a free guitar/song writing class so it might be worth it to invest a little more as you can be sure this money will be put to good use organising a launch night for the album.
