It’s about time we had some punk on the website, and Derry band Lost Avenue certainly don’t disappoint. Having received airplay on BBC Radio, toured the UK and Ireland supporting D.O.A, Billy Liar, Carnivores and Goons, and are now planning on releasing their new single Killing Time / Sudden Death on the 24th June 2016, with this three-piece, it’s clear that punk’s not dead by any stretch of the imagination.
The singles aren’t available for release yet, but we’ve had a listen and they’re bursting with energy, grit, and some catchy hooks. A bit more polished than the punk of olden days, this is my kind of music, the kind that oozes personality.
