If you’re a fan of the paranormal, then what better place to explore at Halloween than a former prison? The Crumlin Road Gaol claims to be one of Belfast’s most haunted buildings and has seen 17 men executed in its 150 year history, so you’re sure to find some skeletons in its proverbial closet.
The Gaol is hosting a Halloween special 60 minute edition of its Paranormal Tour from the 16th October right up until the 31st, where you will visit various hot spots associated with ghoulish activity, including the condemned man’s cell, the execution chamber and tunnel. Tickets are going fast (especially those closest to All Hallows Eve itself), so be sure to book as soon as possible! They can be booked here.
If you’re looking for something scary to do this Halloween, but the paranormal isn’t really your thing, then the Crum’s Jail of Horror II – Halloween Special might be more up your alley. Running from 17th – 31st October, the Jail of Horror is Belfast’s #1 Scare Attraction, where you will come face to face with some former inmates of this notorious prison. The whole thing takes approximately 7 – 12 minutes and is definitely not for the feint of heart. Book your tickets here.
