Thursday is here! Yaaaay! The weekend is near! Yaaaayyy! (I just realised that rhymed, sorry) So with that in mind we’re starting a new weekly feature. It will be called (until we think of something better) Viral Thursday (the marketing guys took the rest of the day off when they thought that one up I can tell you).
We will be featuring a little piece of something that has gone viral around the interwebs from the high tech hub of the world that is Northern Ireland. Heck we’ll even use stuff from anywhere on this crazy rock so long as it’s as viral as viral can be – as you can tell I’m still not entirely sure what viral means. So if you see something that you think is worthy, stick it on our facebook, or tweet it to us, or even use the old fashioned contact us form to the right there. First up is this little beauty…
An edit to graffiti on a wall in County Tyrone has become a Twitter hit.
The graffiti, which was sprayed on a small building in Strabane, originally said ‘Join the IRA’.
An unknown person with a spray can changed it to ‘Join the library.’
A photograph of the edited graffiti was tweeted by teacher and writer Brian McGilloway.
