Blade of the Immortal
Blade of the Immortal is a Japanese manga series by Hiroaki Samura. It follows a samurai called Manji who needs to kill 1000 bad guys to regain his mortality. The film comes from Takashi Miike who you may recognize from 13 Assassins.
The Snowman
Tomas Alfredson’s The Snowman is about a detective called Harry Hole. Micheal Fassbender was cast and comedy ensued. Except it didn’t because even though he’s called Harry Hole, this isn’t a comedy. I have been warned that this is one of those trailers that lays out the whole film so if you feel like watching the actual movie then maybe skip this one. If you still aren’t convinced that this isn’t a comedy about Fassbender turning into a snowman ala Micheal Keaton’s Jack Frost. Then go right ahead.
Bad Moms Big Christmassy Showdown Extravaganza!
That may or may not be the actual title of the film but it’s the one i’m going with. For everyone who saw Bad Moms and thought ‘I’d like to see more of this but maybe at Christmas’, this is for you. I won’t give you the whole synopsis but I will give the the spoilery last line.
By the end of the journey, our moms will redefine how to make the holidays special for all and discover a closer relationship with their mothers.
That’s a pretty ballzy statement. This movie will ‘redefine how to make the holidays special for all’. If I wasn’t on board before, I am now. Starring the one with the awkward face, teh other one with the awkward face who was in Step Brothers and Mila ‘I’m too pregnant to be in Ted 2’ Kunis.
