This week we have trailers from Doctor Strange, Moana, Bad Santa 2 and some teasers from Ghost in the Shell. We’ve news on Nintendo’s NX and some casting from Thor: Ragnarok. We also have a good look at Ghost Rider in AOS.
Doctor Strange
There’s a new TV Spot out for Doc Strange. Here it is. Right here. We’ve also heard that Doc Strange is confirmed for Infinity War (as if there was any doubt).
Bad Santa 2
Bad Santa 2 is a thing so naturally there’s a trailer for it. I for one am all for more Christmas moves especially ones with this much cussing. Might not be one to watch in work though…
Thor: Ragnarok
Another cast member has been confirmed for Thor: Ragnarok and it looks like Jeff Goldblum will be teaming up with his Jurassic Park pal Sam Neill. Sam is currently in Taika Waititi’s new movie Hunt For The Wilderpeople and it looks like Taika is bringing him for a ride on the Marvel roller coaster. Here’s what Sam had to say on the matter
“I did a couple of days on Thor, just before I came over here. I had to sign all sorts of things that say if I say anything else, Marvel’s Secret Agents, and they are lethal, will come and get me, and probably my children as well”.
Nintendo NX
Pokemon Company boss Tsunekazu Ishihara has given us a little confirmation as to what was expected of the NX. That it would perhaps be some sort of console/handheld hybrid.
“The NX is trying to change the concept of what it means to be a home console device or a handheld device, we will make games for the NX.”
Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot seems to like the look of what he’s seen so far too.
“I think, once again, the interface is very attractive, It’s a machine that will be easy to use for all gamers. They have built in something that will give us a chance to really have a different experience from what exists today. That’s what I like – that they come with something new that is adapted to what we actually want now.”
Moana
It’s finally time to get a proper look at Disney’s Moana featuring Dwayne Johnson as the demigod Maui. According to Maori tradition Maui tried to trick the death Goddess and make mankind immortal by “changing into a worm, entering entering her vagina and leaving by her mouth while she slept”. Unfortunately, “she crushed him with the obsidian teeth in her vagina.” I can’t wait to see what Disney do with this one.
Ghost in the Shell
This is an odd selection of promos each lasting a few seconds. I can only image how annoying it would be to watch them all one by one. We’ve got them all here though in a handy playlist.
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Here’s our first taste of what Ghost Rider actually looks like in AOS. Not bad for TV I say.
