We’ve got Sing, Lego Batman, Ghost in the Shell, A Series of Unfortunate Events, Wonder Woman and Beauty and the Beast. Lots of trailers this week so lets get to it!
Sing
Sing comes from Illumination Entertainment , the folks who brought the world Dispicable Me and The Secret Life of Pets. This one’s about singing animals rather than talking animals or little yella fellas.
Garth Jennings known for The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy (2005) and Son of Rambow (2007) is directing an all star cast including Matthew McConaughey, Reese Witherspoon, Seth MacFarlane, Scarlett Johansson andJohn C. Reilly,
Beauty and the Beast
No trailer yet but we do have some nice new pictures.
Alan Menken also let EW know that one of the songs will be getting a bit of a face lift. Menken composed the music for both the animated version and teh live action, Howard Ashman wrote the lyrics.
In ‘Gaston,’ we had a treasure trove of lyrics that Howard had written that we did not put in the movie. In many cases they were a little bit risqué — not risqué sexually, but risqué in terms of sensibility. We all felt ready to have these lyrics. When Bill found out about those lyrics, he said, ‘Oh my god, can we please look at that, because it would be a wonderful way to add an extra freshness to the movie.’ So, yes, you’re going to hear some unheard Howard Ashman lyrics.
Trainspotting 2
We’ve finally got some footage of the new trainspotting. First up, the teaser.
And here’s the trailer…
A Series of Unfortunate Events
A new trailer for Netflix’ ASoUE and this time we get to see Neil Patrick Harris’ Count Olaf.
Wonder Woman
A proper trailer for Wonder Woman and it looks pretty awesome. For some reason, super heroes always feel more at home in the past.
Lego Batman
At last the DC trailer you’ve been waiting on.
Ghost in the Shell
And we finish up with the Ghost in the Shell teaser. Which is extremely annoying I might add.
