Octogeek is back this week with some news on The Black Panther, Star Wars, Power Rangers as well as a little piece of what to expect from Marvel as far as gaming is concerned.
The Avengers Project
It’s been ages since there was even a remotely good Avengers game, Disney Infinity and Lego Avengers games not withstanding. It’s big news then that Marvel has struck up a multi game deal with Square Enix (Final Fantasy) to start getting some decent games out of Marvel properties. Check out the teaser for SE’s first game.
Black Panther
Marvel have finally given us a synopsis to the Black Panther movie. It doesn’t reveal a lot but it’s something
“Black Panther” follows T’Challa who, after the events of “Captain America: Civil War,” returns home to the isolated, technologically advanced African nation of Wakanda to take his place as King. However, when an old enemy reappears on the radar, T’Challa’s mettle as King and Black Panther is tested when he is drawn into a conflict that puts the entire fate of Wakanda and the world at risk.
Star Wars VIII
Star Wars Episode VIII has been given a title and that title is The Last Jedi. That’s it. Thats all I’ve got. If you want to know more, it’s out December.
The Lost City of Z
A new trailer for director James Gray‘s The Lost City of Z. Based on a true story it charts Col. Percival Fawcett’s search for a lost city in the Amazon. Charlie Hunnam plays the colonel along with a cast including
Sienna Miller, Tom Holland, Robert Pattinson, and Angus Macfadyen.
Power Rangers
We’ve got a new trailer which lets loose Bryan Cranston’s Zoron, Bill Hader’s Alpha 5 as well as the Zords. Fingers crossed they can make a decent job of it.
