The Arts and Culture play a pivotal role in most of our lives, especially in the rejuvenation of Belfast in recent years and events such as Culture Night and the Cathedral Quarter Arts Festival go to show just how appreciative local people are and just how important they are for our society.
#ArtsMattersNI will be holding an open meeting in the MAC (Metropolitan Arts Centre) on Thursday 15th January from 11am – 1pm. This meeting will serve as a platform for discussing the upcoming Campaign and how everyone can get involved in 2015. At a time when funding for arts and culture in Northern Ireland is being cut and dismissed by those in power, this is an important show of solidarity and an opportunity for change.
