If you’re a fan of the supernatural, then this one is definitely for you. Directed by Michael Poynor, and with music by Mark Dougherty, this all new adaptation of Bram Stoker’s Dracula is coming to The Theatre at The Mill this month.

The Ulster Theatre Company production of Jonathan Harker and Dracula sees Northern Ireland’s own Gerard McCarthy (Hollyoaks, The Fall, Vikings) playing the dual roles of both Jonathan Harker and Dracula himself. In pre-recorded roles (not actually performing in the flesh), the play also stars Kym Marsh (Coronation Street) Belfast’s Rachel Tucker (who recently starred in the West End’s Wicked) and Ballymoney girl, Jayne Wisener (Tim Burton’s Sweeney Todd) so it’s a pretty home grown cast over all.

We are promised backing screens, projections, quadrophonic sound and a newly commissioned score alongside on-stage cameras so you won’t miss a thing. This definitely looks set to tell the story of  Dracula, like you’ve never seen it before.

Running from 20th September to 27th September, tickets cost £15, £13, £11, & £9 and can be booked here.
