George Egg is the aptly named cook/comedian who has been selling out Fringe and comedy festivals for years with his genre-splicing comedy show Anarchist Cook.

Using nothing but the items available in hotel rooms (iron, kettle, trouser-press), George Egg makes ‘gourmet’ (or at least, edible) meals and has created this stand-up show from his experiences.

George Egg is a stand-up comedian and a passionate cook with an anarchic approach to making meals. Dissatisfied with the quality of room service food while touring the UK’s comedy clubs George embarks on a project to take matters into his own hands.

This is a surreal mix of stand-up, striking innovation and extreme multitasking. Whilst performing an hour of comedy George prepares a three-course meal using just the equipment you’ll find in a hotel room. And if you want to, you can taste it at the end.

After a total sell-out run at the Edinburgh Fringe 2015 and 2016, George has toured the show everywhere from the UK to Norway, Estonia and even New Zealand, and the final ever two dates will be at Belfast’s The MAC on 9th and 10th November.

Absurd, original and really rather funny, this really is your last chance to see this show, so get your tickets quick! More information and tickets can be found here.
