Previously we reported about one of Chris’s favourite US burger joints (after IN -N-OUT Burgers) ‘Five Guys Burgers And Fries’ was coming to Belfast, but now we have a confirmation of where it’s going to be.
The company have recently advertised for an assistant manager in *Drum roll please* Victoria Square!
“Our client, Five Guys – are looking for an Assistant Restaurant Manager to assist the General Manager of their brand new store, soon to be opening in Victoria Square, Belfast City Centre.”
Five Guys do mainly burgers, hot dogs and fries – all produced fresh with the company famously having no freezers. Their fries also have a distinctive taste mainly due to the peanut oil used in their cooking. When we visited them in Washington DC they also have huge sacks of monkey nuts all-round the store that patrons are welcome to eat, no word on whether that will make the transition to Belfast. Hopefully the tastiness of the burgers will transition though and I can finally get upto my goal weight of 30 metric tonnes.
