Hailing from Belfast, 4-piece rock outfit Thieves of Ennui are quickly becoming one of the most highly anticipated live acts in Northern Ireland. After forming in 2013, Thieves of Ennui spent their first two years writing and gigging prolifically (including 22 gigs in 2014), before finally releasing their debut single Let It Burn earlier this month.

Let It Burn marks the start of a series of single releases on the cards for this band, and with a melodic start which gives way to grinding guitars, punchy drums and a strong track full of proper rugged rock and roll, it’s hard not to be left wanting more. Guitarist and vocalist Aaron Reeve’s husky vocals are full of edge, but with a hint of softness that offsets the slamming drums and the rhythm and groove of the guitars nicely.

The track is available on iTunes and Spotify now, and the lads are on their way to playing a mammoth 42 gigs this year, so it shouldn’t be too hard to find them playing live at a venue near you soon!
