If you liked Hobbs and Shaw (Dwayne ‘the Rock’ Johnson and Jason ‘the Statham’ Statham) in the Fast and Furious movies then you’ll likely be super duper excited about spin-off ‘Hobbs and Shaw’. According to director David Leitch (Deadpool 2, Atomic Blonde, John Wick), it’s the start of a franchise that’ll be ‘a little bit more grounded’. ‘The Rock’ and ‘The Statham’ where easily the best part of the last Fast and Furious film and Idris ‘The Elbow’ Elba is onboard to do bad guy duties so i’m expecting something special.

Next up for the Netflix treatment is fantasy video game ‘The Witcher’. Henry Cavill has been confirmed to play Geralt ‘The Witcher’ Geralt. I like Henry Cavill in anything he’s in, with or without a moustache so colour me interested.

Next up is Tarantino’s ‘Once Upon a Time in Hollywood’. Starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt as a 60’s era actor and stunt double. It’s Tarantino so there’s a tonne of other notable actors in it too. There’s Margot Robbie as Sharon Tate, Mike Moh as Bruce Lee, Burt Reynolds as George Spahn, Damian Lewis as Steve McQueen, Dakota Fanning as Lynette “Squeaky” Fromme and Rafal Zawierucha (I googled him, he’s Polish) as Roman Polanski.

Lastly, as if to take some of the bad taste away from James Gunn’s firing, Marvel has released some images and a synopsis for Captain Marvel which is due out next March. It all comes via Entertainment Weekly with a snazzy cover to boot. Captain Marvel is set before Ironman and features a 2 eyed Nick Fury as well as a pre Guardian’s of the Galaxy Ronan.

The story follows Carol Danvers as she becomes one of the universe’s most powerful heroes when Earth is caught in the middle of a galactic war between two alien races. Set in the 1990s, “Captain Marvel” is an all-new adventure from a previously unseen period in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
