In the not-so-distant past Belfast’s biggest and best restaurants went head to head in Yelp Belfast’s Wing-Off competition. In that one night, the host restaurant Hotplate Noshery shot from obscurity to full blown champions of the world when their tasty little morsels were declared ‘Belfast’s Best Wings‘ by the region’s greatest testers (us).

WYelp Belfast Burger Offings may be a thing of the past, but in Yelp Belfast’s latest announcement we have learnt that the battle isn’t anywhere near over, not by a long shot.

The Mouthing Off series will see Belfast businesses battle it out to decide who is the best of the best in a variety of different competitions. So far four separate editions have been announced:

The Burger Edition – 6th October 2015

The Cocktail Edition – 3rd November 2015

The Pizza Edition – TBC

The Cupcake Edition – TBC

Coming up first is the hotly anticipated Burger Edition taking place at Jack Harley’s on the 6th October. With eight challengers already confirmed, this is set to be a gargantuan feat for both the chefs and the lucky tasters. Already confirmed we have: The Hotplate Noshery, Jack Harley’s, Treehouse AM:PM, City Picnic
, Bootleggers, Birdcage, Hendogs, and Rocket & Relish
. Who do you have your money on?

Anyone can sign up to be a judge, so why not try your luck and RSVP here to be in with a chance to be one of the chosen ones.
