We’re signing off for the year, so we want to wish all our readers (and watchers) a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.  This year we’ve had an eventful old-time including:

  • #PastieParenting – launching this was something I’ve been trying to do since before my now 4-year-old was even born. It was great to finally get this out and get a few articles up.
  • ‘A Pint with Pastiebap’ – Had great fun with this, drinking and talking all things NI!  We’re looking to improve this in the New Year 😊
  • Fashion with Amy Pollock – having Amy on board has been great and brought a new dimension (and eyes) to the site. (very fashionable) Hats off to Amy for some great articles.
  • Laura got married – which meant me holding the fort on my own (mostly) for a few months. But great for her, and a great challenge for me. Also, my first experience as best bridesman and I didn’t lose the rings!
  • Streamlined site – we streamlined our categories and whilst not a big thing, it’s little things like this that help the site flow but take a good bit of work to achieve. We’re planning more improvements for next year.
  • 7th Year and still here – we’ve seen a lot of blogs/sites come and go in the 7 years we’ve been doing this, but happy to say we’re still here and looking forward to year 8!
  • More theatre – we got back into theatre reviews in a big way this year.  This has always been my favourite part of doing the site, so getting to see a lot more theatre this year was Phenomenal.

Big thanks to The Mac and The Lyric especially this year for inviting us to sooooo many great shows.  Also worth noting is Threes Theatre Company who brought us our favourite show of the year with their Date Night After Dark at this year most unlikely stage Bulliet Hotel.

See you all next year yeah?
