We have been fans of the TheHolidayNInja.com site for a while and then happened to spend a lovely day at Tayto Park with the NInja himself a few months ago, so we’re delighted that he’s taken the site to the next level and re-launched it.  The site itself looks great, so read on for more about Jordan and your new source of NI based holiday bargains!

A passion for finding holiday deals from Northern Ireland and sharing them with friends has turned into a high-flying business for local bargain hunter Jordan McCluskey.

What started out as a hobby on social media has taken off for the entrepreneur from Bangor who calls himself The Holiday NInja, and who today launched a brand new website which he hopes will become the first port of call for any NI travellers looking for a holiday bargain.

The new Holiday NInja website promises to take the hassle out of searching for the perfectly priced holiday by collating offers and deals from a wide range of travel companies – tailored specifically for the Northern Ireland market.

The key to the website, which is updated daily, is that it only provides offers with local departures – from Belfast, Derry~Londonderry and Dublin.  All the offers are sourced from local travel companies and bookable through them.

“It started out as a hobby,” explains Jordan.  “I always loved finding holiday offers (who doesn’t!) from Northern Ireland and sharing them with my friends and family, then I created a Facebook page, followed by a blog,  and things have literally taken off ever since.

“I’ve always felt there was a big gap in the market for a local holiday listings site – in the same way we use local classified platforms for cars, homes and jobs ahead of big national platforms.  So I thought that if it can work for those, why can’t it work for holidays?

The Holiday NInja website fills that gap and has the potential to really change the way the Northern Ireland public search for their holiday offers,” he added.  “It would certainly have made my life a lot easier years ago, when I was scouring the net for holiday bargains.”

Supported by The Holiday NInja’s social media channels, on which Jordan has built up a following of more than 20,000, the website will allow users to search for holidays based on type – whether it be city breaks, sunshine holidays, luxury breaks or cruises – and each offer is fully detailed with contact details for the local agency who provided it.

“All of our offers are from local travel agents so you are dealing with a local travel trade professional and your booking will always be safe and secure, something that users who book their own holidays online themselves can maybe not guarantee,” Jordan continued. “But now these local companies have a platform to showcase all their own fantastic offers on The Holiday NInja website.

“Everyone loves holidays and finding a holiday bargain,” concluded Jordan.  “It always gave me a real buzz when I discovered a great deal, and my hope is that The Holiday NInja website will have lots of people getting that same feeling all over Northern Ireland.”
